Is it safe to outsource AI content editing?

Outsourcing AI content editing is safe when the safeguards are agreed in writing first. The main risks are unpublished drafts leaking, lock-in and loss of editorial control; IBM’s 2025 breach report found 97% of organisations with an AI model or application breach lacked proper AI access controls. How fast do you edit each piece?

Each piece comes back within 48 hours of submission once the pipeline is live. Before that, the audit takes four days and the pilot and pipeline setup run two to three weeks together, so a first engagement is live in about four weeks. Delivery from Dhaka (UTC+6) means an overnight turnaround for US teams and same-day for the UK and Singapore.

What does the human editor check?

Every checkable claim, number and date against a source; the sources themselves, opened and read rather than counted; voice, repetition and stock AI phrasing against your style guide; structure, headings and length; and a plagiarism and citation report on the finished piece. One named editor owns each piece and records the sign-off, so there is always a person behind the publish button.

Does Google penalise AI content?

No. Google Search Central states that generative AI is useful for researching a topic and adding structure to original content, and that the risk is using it to generate many pages without adding value for users, which may violate the scaled content abuse policy. That policy applies no matter how content is created. Human editing is what turns a bulk draft into a page with checked facts, real sources and an owner.

Must we label AI-generated text?

It depends on where you publish and why. Under Article 50(4) of the EU AI Act, which has applied since 2 August 2026, a deployer publishing AI-generated text to inform the public on a matter of public interest must disclose it, unless the content has undergone human review or editorial control and a person or company holds editorial responsibility. Our named editor and sign-off log create that record. Your counsel decides what to publish and how to label it.

Will edited content pass AI detectors?

We do not promise that, and no honest editor can. Detector scores shift with every model release, and the same text can be scored differently by two tools on the same day. What editing changes is verifiable instead: facts checked against sources, citations added, voice matched to your style guide, repetition and filler removed, and a plagiarism and citation report attached to each piece.

How do you fact-check AI drafts?

1. The editor lists every checkable claim, statistic, date and named entity in the draft. 2. Each one is traced to a primary source, not to another article repeating it. 3. Claims that cannot be sourced are cut, or flagged in the error log for your team to confirm. 4. Surviving claims are cited in the format your style guide sets. 5. The piece ships with a plagiarism and citation report and an entry in the sign-off log.

What happens above the word caps?

Every package has a published word cap: 10,000 words for the audit, 20,000 for the pilot and 30,000 a month for the Managed Editing Desk. Volume above the cap is quoted per 1,000 words before the work starts, or priced as a custom engagement for large or continuous programmes. The caps are deliberate: one named editor reads every piece in full, and that is only sustainable when the monthly volume is agreed in advance.

Who owns the style guide and prompts?

Your company does, from day one. The style guide, prompt library, editing checklist, error log and every edited file live in your own drive, CMS or workspace, and we work inside your accounts rather than ours. At handover you keep all of it, our access is removed, and nothing is retained on our side.

What access do you need to our systems?

Editors need only least-privilege access to the documents and CMS entries in scope. You create the accounts in your own name, grant access for the engagement, and we remove it at handover. Work starts after a mutual NDA, personal data is handled under a data processing agreement, and no sub-processor is added without your written approval.

Can you switch us from another editor?

Yes, and the audit is built for it. We read a sample of the work your current provider delivered, record the error types we find, and turn the rules you already use into a written style guide, prompt library and checklist. You keep that file whether or not you continue with us, so switching does not mean starting from an empty page.

What will you not sign off on?

We do not give legal, medical, financial or regulatory sign-off, and we will not certify a claim that a lawyer, clinician or licensed adviser has to approve. We do not guarantee an AI-detector score, and we do not write original research or first drafts from scratch under these packages. An editor’s sign-off says the piece was checked against the sources supplied and the rules we agreed; it is not professional advice.
